As Julianne Hough, 19 year old professional ballroom dancer, sets her sights on her second Mirror Ball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars, rumors are abound for this beautiful (in personality and appearance) dancer in another romantic linking. First people thought her and former dancing partner Apolo Anton Ohno had a romance going - which they don’t. Now, there is speculation that Kevin Connolly, 33-year-old Entourage actor is pursuing her romantically even going as far as spending thousands of dollars on a diamond and 18-karat, white-gold ring for the 19 year old dancer.

Mr. Connolly revealed to Howard Stern that he was “actively pursuing” Julianne. Connolly said that they met at the Los Angeles club called Hyde. He states that they see each other almost everyday and he even sat in the studio audience at one of the tapings (not sure when a taping would occur since this show is supposed to be LIVE! - maybe he meant a taping of a Live show - who knows?)

Hough denies all the reports and speculation stating her and Connolly are “just friends.” She calls the situation flattering and thinks it is sweet, but denies any sort of romance. She reportedly did get a ring from Connolly and wore the ring on Monday’s show, but “insisted” that the two are just friends and aren’t dating.

This isn’t the first time that romance rumors have been abound. As mentioned previously, people speculated she had a romance going with Apolo Anton Ohno (4th season winner partnered with Julianne). The rumors really started to fly when Julianne “postponed” her wedding with former dancer, Zach Wilson. The postponement came just 2 weeks before the May broadcast of DWTS Season 4 finale. Julianne revealed that the postponement was due to her hectic rehearsal schedule with Ohno. Ohno also denied any romantic involvement with Hough.

Hough told People “No!, [Zach and I] are still together. We just want [more time] before we get married. It’s all good!” Zack told TV Guide that he and Hough still plan to wed and that they “fallen away from each other at all”. Is that still true though? You would think that Hough would mention her relationship with Wilson in denying her involvement with Connolly, but there was no mention of Wilson. Which seems to me, only adds more fuel to the fire.

Whatever the case may be, Julianne is beautiful inside and out and who wouldn’t want to pursue her? Her personality is magnetic - who wouldn’t be drawn to that? Hough should be flattered. Whether she’s involved or not, or who she is involved with will always be talked about for this very fact. I hope she keeps her spirit about her and not become bitter with all this fuss about her personal life. She’s only 19 years old and is rather new to all this attention. I’m hoping she stays the same old Julianne and learns to focus on the dancing and brush off all the rumors, speculation, and questions. We love you just the way you are, Julianne, stay who you are.
