Mary Delgado arrested for assaulting "Batchelor" Byron Velvick
Mary Delgado was arrested and charged with domestic battery on Wednesday for allegedly punching fiancé Byron Velvick.
Mary Delgado (Maribel Liliana Delgado), 2004 contestant on the "The Bachelor", has been arrested and charged with domestic violence in Florida. According to unconfirmed reports, the target of her abuse was her fiancé and star on the 2004 ABC TV show "The Bachelor" Byron Velvick. Allegedly Mary Delgado, who was proposed to by Velvick on the reality show, hit him in the face, causing a cut on his lip. The former cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was booked into the Pinellas County Jail in the early hours on Wednesday and was later released on her own recognizance. Mary Delgado's arrest comes just one day after this week's special on ABC "After the Final Rose", where the couple said they planned to marry next November.
