Howard Stern: Bob Schimmel Tribute Set!
Robert Schimmel, HBO comedian and Howard Stern fave, was fatally injured in a car accident with his daughter and son, which occurred on August 26. He passed last Friday, September 3.
Schimmel's daughter, 19, was reportedly driving the car when she was forced to swerve to avoid an accident in her lane. As a result, the car containing her, her dad, and Schimmel's 11-year-old son rolled over onto the side of the Arizona freeway.
The boy was uninjured and Schimmel's daughter was hospitalized and is recovering.
